When you step into Storybook Ranch Preschool, you will notice and environment that invites children to learn and grow.  The school was founded in 1979 by Francesca “Miss Frankie” Gardner, who fulfilled her lifelong dream of turning her childhood home, which was surrounded by woods and dirt roads, into a place where children are in a nurturing and loving environment.  They promote imaginative play that will enhance your child’s development in all areas.  The activities they offer the children make them a leader among child care facilities in the area.

Storybook Ranch offers parent involvement programs that you,as the parent, can be involved in your child’s daily care.  It is important that beneficial relationships are formed in order to maximize the center’s quality care services.  Storybook Ranch believes in positive relationships being formed with the child as well as the parent.  There is nothing better than being able to leave your child in the hands of someone you can trust.  Therefore, they encourage parents to discuss any concerns with the staff.  Storybook Ranch Preschool is Nationally accredited by NECPA (National Early Childhood Program Accreditation), Gold Seal Approved, 4 Star rating from Hillsborough County Quality Counts for Kids, National Child Care Association, and the Florida Association for Childcare Management.  All teachers are First Aid and CPR certified.  Background checks are done before employment and every year thereafter.  All staff are required to take child abuse training.

Class begins at 9:30 a.m.  We ask that all children be here by then.  If they are not here, they may NOT come until 2:00 p.m.  It disturbs lunch and nap.
