Ducklings Overview
Our Ducklings preschool program is for Newborns to 12 Months
Welcome to our room of darling ducklings. Our child care educators provide a warm and caring environment. We have a large room with many areas for children to explore throughout their day. Daily your child will be showered with hugs and friendly smiles in between belly time, back time, sensory activities, and outdoor play. This will help ensure that children are reaching their very important developmental milestones. We have planned activities including puppet shows, musical instruments, songs, books, etc…to help the children stay stimulated during the day.
Parents must provide diapers, wipes, pacifiers, pre-made bottles (labeled with first and last name) with caps, and any foods the children eat. We will provide graduates and table food when they are ready for this stage. Diaper rash cream may be provided by the parents with a completed medical release form. Our child care educators along with the USDA food guidelines will help guide you as to when your child is ready for more food and what types to introduce.

Ducklings
We can’t wait to show you around our Ducklings room and their own outdoor patio play deck. We are excited to meet you and answer any questions you may have. Our open door policy is from 9-12 and 3:30-5:30. All other times require an appointment or you can call with any questions.
Achievement goals for graduating this age group:
- Sitting up, crawling, walking
- Holding own bottle, Using sippy cup
- Complete transfer to table food
- One nap a day
- Mimic sounds,Start to say words
- Get a toy they want, roll a ball
- Knock down blocks

We follow the USDA Myfood plate guidelines and infant guidelines for each child.

We serve a breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks a day. Parents are allowed to bring children their own food as long as it meets the required USDA guidelines. We also work with parents of children on special food diets.

Storybook Ranch Preschool is a great place for my daughter to start her schooling experience. It’s welcoming and safe and my daughter loves being there.
I have a 1 year old and a 5 year old who have been attending for a year now. I can not tell you how much I adore and appreciate all of the wonderful staff.
I have to say that I have 2 children ages 5 and 2 and have used various daycare’s in Preschool and this is by far the very best I have ever used.
